Gervonta Davis has appeared online again and is a bit all over the place himself like Mayweather, but even more so.
Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis was one of the most entertaining boxers in America and worldwide of his time.
A man who knocked people out and had more speed than most will ever come close to in boxing.
But in recent years due to outside the ring issues he has boxed far less frequently and when he has fought, he has not been that impressive.
Not as much as he used to be.
He used to be great friends with Floyd Mayweather some years ago now who once took him under his wing in the early days of Tank’s boxing career.
He used to promote him and he was his protege in many ways but they parted company due to unresolvable differences a while back.
They never worked with one another or were friends again.
Davis has been kind of mumbling in his response to all of Mayweather’s legal, financial and boxing issues on a streaming video that has surfaced.
In a hard to understand response to them — it appears he said Mayweather had the world in the palms of his hands.
But threw it away due to wanting to overtake someone who did not have his best interests at heart.
Davis appears there to be inferring and allegedly speaking of Mayweather’s old adviser and manager, Al Haymon.
Also the founder of Premier Boxing Champions.
A leaked audio surfaced recently allegedly of someone appearing to be Haymon threatening Mayweather.
Both Haymon and Mayweather look to be in oblivion compared to where they once were in boxing.
Davis in the stream video looks like he recorded the thing on a potato due to the low quality of its presentation. You can barely see him at all.
One of the crappiest smart phone streams we have seen in some time in boxing.
Alas, knockout artist Gervonta Davis is apparently in talks to return to boxing at the moment.
Apparently even Tank reached out to Devin Haney and his team about a fight recently.
Let’s see what Tank does next.
