Floyd Mayweather is just back in the US after a boxing exhibition of his in Greece had to be called off and he is all over the place.
He is in his gym doing some training by the looks of it but is talking not like his usual self.
By all accounts the Manny Pacquiao rematch is being looked at being postponed until next year Pacquiao said recently.
But in short, that is simple language for the fight is not happening now due to Mayweather’s mess.
That is the reality and fact of the matter. The Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 fight is not happening now.
Get used to it.
Boxing moves on and the sport continues to do great and is returing to the masses daily and will do so all summer ahead and beyond anyway.
Mayweather however has been saying recently in the Pacquiao rematch you will see war or chess in it.
He is wrong.
Because the fight is not happening now and he is in multiple conundrums contending with many issues, people and even governments.
Earlier Manny Pacquiao sounded concerned Mayweather and said he wishes Mayweather would sort out his problems.
The fight is not happening for now and Mayweather has more pressing concerns at the moment away from boxing.
It is possible Mayweather could look to do some type of exhibition possibly in the US but the issues appear to be around companies he has worked with in boxing.
In terms of the Manny Pacquiao 2 rematch and the Mike Tyson exhibition fights falling through recently — due to allegedly issues with Mayweather.
This is where the problem centres around at the moment for Mayweather in even trying to arrange another fight of any kind.
Whether a professional bout or exhibition.
Even in the US.
