Lamont Roach of the US suffered a defeat to Zepeda of Mexico lately but remains a big name in US boxing more than any country.
Gervonta Davis took him to a stalemate only last year, also of America, most thought Lamont Roach deserved to get the nod over a year ago and a bit, at this point, at this stage.
The fight sold outstanding at the time only last year in NYC also and did amazing numbers at the box office.
Gervonta Davis remains a huge name in America not just in boxing and can come back to the sport anytime if he opts to.
He did a bit of a missing persons act in recent times but he comes back then and again on social media, saying he is coming back to boxing.
Then he disappears can. Amid his often legal problems that Tank has he then just comes back to training and so on.
This pattern is not reliable from Tank but Roach is there to fight again and is coming off a recent defeat to Mexican boxer Zepeda and can fight again if he needs to.
Both have entertaining fight styles and can box, punch and slug it out if they need to.
Tank the bigger puncher and not long ago Tank had supposedly been getting ready for the Jake Paul fight just before last Christmas, a big exhibition.
Instead Paul opted to fight Anthony Joshua but it at least proved that Tank can train and get interested for a fight of interest.
That Roach fight is not a good thing for him as most think Roach had got the victory, he needs to put that right.
The fight is still a huge sell and makes sense again after the recent Roach defeat to Zepeda of Mexico.
All in all, Gervonta Tank Davis vs Lamont Roach remains a massive fight that can be made.
