It is all to play for this weekend in boxing between Jaron Ennis vs Xander Zayas in a big fight in the US in boxing.
Zayas has less fights than Ennis as a pro but comes into this one brimming with confidence this weekend.
In many ways the weight of expectations and pressure is on Jaron Ennis and the confidence Zayas showing is dangerous for Ennis.
Like Ennis, Zayas has never lost and will come into this fearless — as he should do.
He is the underdog though against Ennis and it is important to be clear about that going into this weekend.
It is to unify belts at 154 pounds in the super welterweight division but the old belts do not matter anymore in the eyes of the public.
The thing that matters here is the fight is a great one and people are really looking forward to it.
Two young undefeated champions fighting when they are not over the hill with an entertaining clash of styles and growing fan bases.
Zayas is not particularly known outside of the US and boxing, nor is Ennis really, but the winner has a chance to do much more.

In a time where the sport is returning to the masses that list has never been more important in worldwide boxing.

In theory the winner could go in at around number ten on the rankings but it is that competitive at the moment it is a tough call.

Although time and time again talks did not happen for the fight between Vergil Ortiz and Jaron Ennis.
Largely due to rapidly in decline promoter of Ortiz Oscar De La Hoya’s lack of ability to get the fight done.
There is also the likes of champions Josh Kelly and Sebastian Fundora there for the winner of this weekend’s Ennis vs Zayas fight.
Not many give Zayas a chance of winning this match and he deserves some credit for stepping up to take it.
He may take a bit of a beating in there at times but who knows how exactly the fight will go.
Zayas has nothing to lose.
Ennis on his part though while he might win this fight this weekend comes across as over confident at times ahead of the Xander Zayas fight.
Not a mentality pursuant or in keeping with that of a pound for pound number one boxer like Jaron Boots Ennis claims.
