Dmitry Bivol reacts to defeating Eifert a short time ago in live boxing results tonight from his comeback win in Russia.
Overall he boxed well and got the job done as expected.
But we saw physical decline in him and he timed Eifert onto the check left hook in round one to drop him.
He didn’t have a lot of strength and power to trouble him after that well timed check left hook. He won the points by wide UD tonight in boxing.
Speaking a short time ago he said:
“David Benavidez is the next guy. He’s a hungry guy, he’s strong, and I believe he’s ready to fight.”
He added:
“I’m ready at any weight possible. I feel good.” (referring to fighting Benavidez at light heavyweight or cruiserweight).
That was literally moments ago in Russia.
So he wants the David Benavidez fight.
Benavidez is up at cruiserweight now after defeating Gilberto Ramirez for the cruiserweight title recently so let’s see if he comes back down to 175 pounds to establish who really is the best light-heavyweight in the world.
Who knows what fights both will be in next in 2026 but tonight was Dmitry Bivol‘s night for now.
