The long awaited Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Tank Davis has taken its most real step to reality yet.
For years the fight was called for by everyone in boxing and supporters of the sport worldwide.
It appears Bob Arum was behind the fight not being made as Lomachenko has said he is coming back now to boxing this year now that he is free from Bob Arum’s supposed contract with him.
He has listed Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis as one of the names he wants to fight next.

In theory you could give Davis the edge but he’s been inactive himself a lot and in and out of trouble away from boxing.
He hasn’t fought now since that draw with Lamont Roach and he wasn’t overly impressive in that fight.
Many thought he lost it.
Also Lomachenko has shown he can come back after time away before and beat younger fighters like Australian George Kambosos.
