Simon Jordan of the UK often angers boxing guests.
Whether fighters, promoters and even his fellow analysts, his controversial approach often back fires and does not have the intended effect he wish it had.
How ironic.
This nearly got out of hands for him quickly though with former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder:
Before the interview Wilder had asked Jordan not to bring up Fury and apparently they agreed they would not discuss Fury.
That explains the above. For context. Very bad form from Jordan who is already unliked enough.
Conversely, contrastingly as well, Wilder was well received by people in England and got more of a fans welcome than home town fighter Derek Chisora even.
This is a fight for fans more than any. Both have entertaining fight styles.
One strange interviewer from Jordan above will not derail the fight or the event of course.
The show goes on. Wilder doesn’t seem bothered at all by distractions overall.
April 4th in the UK all hell breaks loose in the boxing ring.
