Deontay Wilder Reacts To Chisora Wanting To Kill Him

Wilder took issue with the bold claim.

Derek Chisora could be talking his way into an almighty beating from a calm, cool and calculated Deontay Wilder these days.

Wilder has seen it all and as a former WBC heavyweight champion and Olympic medalist for the USA, he knows boxing as well as anyone.

Speaking to Fight Hype on Chisora claiming he wanted to kill him in their upcoming boxing match in April, Wilder said:

“You wanna kill me? You think you can come in here and kill me? I’m the Bronze Bomber! I’ve been through wars! You don’t know what you’re stepping into.”

He later added:

“Derek, you talking all this tough guy stuff, but when that bell rings, it’s gonna be different. You wanna take my head off? Come try it! I’ll send you back to London in a body bag.”

Wilder went on to say:

“I don’t play games. This ain’t no joke. You step to me, you better be ready to die in that ring. ‘Cause that’s what I’m bringing—death! Straight death.”

Concluding that Derek Chisora could be in quite some trouble:

“Chisora, you keep running your mouth. But mouths get shut real quick when the power hits. My right hand is coming for you. It’s over when it lands.”

They fight on April 4th in the UK.
