The boxing world continues to discuss and debate what transpired this past weekend in Las Vegas.
Tyson Fury dethroned WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in a performance for the ages.
It now looks like Wilder will be activating his rematch clause with the prospect of a third fight between he and Fury possible for the summer time.
Fighters from around the world have been chiming in on what they saw in the ring thus far.
One of boxing’s brightest prospects Devin Haney said:
Indeed, Fury’s game plan was genius.
When you consider that Fury told us exactly what he was going to do for months on end, with no one really believing he’d go in to try to knock Wilder out — then he actually went in there and did it.
The ultimate reverse psychology.
People won’t be underestimating the ‘Gypsy King’ again anytime soon.
The Kronk style of fighting really seems to suit Fury too.
It worked well for him in there and credit also has to be given to Sugar Hill and Andy Lee for assisting Fury both technically and from a mentor-ship standpoint.
