A fight pitting the American Schofield vs undefeated Canadian Bahdi is being looked at for October 10th.
It is not confirmed yet but it might be for an old belt from one of the old defunct four belt companies that belonged previously to Gervonta Tank Davis.
There are better fights for Schofield, he beats the Canadian easy if they make this in our eyes due to;
- Youth & Stamina: At 23, Schofield is nine years younger—fresher legs and faster reflexes for the later rounds.
- One-Punch KO Power: Just flattened Tevin Farmer in 78 seconds; Bahdi has never seen that kind of instant heat.
- Blinding Hand Speed: “Shane Mosley-esque” quickness lands combinations before Bahdi can even react.
- Relentless Body Attack: Saps the gas tank early with vicious shots to the midsection.
- Proven Comeback Ability: Hit the deck against Giron, got up and dominated—won’t fold under Bahdi’s power.
- Big-Fight Ready: In the spotlight since his teens; Vegas lights won’t rattle him.
- Weak Resume Gap: Bahdi’s best win is a flash KO; Schofield has faced (and beaten) tougher names.
- Ring Rust Danger: Bahdi hasn’t fought since August 2025—rusty against a pressure fighter is a recipe for disaster.
- Pressure Smothers Range: Schofield won’t give Bahdi space to set up his offense; it’s non-stop forward aggression.
- Chip on His Shoulder: Had a title shot stolen last minute—fighting with desperation Bahdi can’t match.
Bahdi is 20-0-15KO but he has not really fought anyone, not near Schofield’s class.
Floyd Schofield is 19-0-13 KO and defeated Tevin Farmer also of the US last time out but over a year and a bit ago at this point.
That had been in June of last year at this stage, too inactive.
He could fight better names than this.
The Gervonta Davis fight a much bigger one obviously.
