Ryan Garcia could ping Conor Benn in his speed alone but Benn looks more focused

Ryan Garcia has all the physical and technical boxing tools to outshine Conor Benn is almost every department in the sport in their fight, if he chooses to.

That is the thing though.

He is a bit all over the place again on all his Instagram and influencer video stuff but he has displayed a bit of speed on the pads in some training footage again recently.

He is up at 147 pounds at the moment and it looked a good division for him in his last victory against Mario Barrios on points by UD in his last bout.

American boxing star Garcia if he chose to and got in great shape for the fight, if he does, can get in there and jab the head off Benn in dart in and out and out box him early.

He can do this for the early rounds and then break Benn apart and bust him up, round by round, and use his better feet to step off the more flat footed and not as fast Benn.

Benn is coming off an average victory against Regis Prograis of the US in his last fight.

Before that the UK’s Benn had impressed everyone up at 160 pounds in his Chris Eubank Jr victory.

But Eubank Jr had been highly drained from trying to make that division also, it has to be noted for balance.

Benn can hit a bit at 147 pounds and is tough, very tough, and an entertaining boxer.

But Garcia, the Ryan Garcia of old, if he gets in 100 per cent condition and takes the fight deadly serious is a better boxer and faster and around the same hitting sting as him.

It is an interesting little scrap actually and because Benn is taking it more seriously, if remains to be seen if Garcia can ping him at ease.
