On one hand some are saying he won’t fight again until 2027, but he is making moves behind the scenes to fight in 2026 all the time.
Not only that, he is approaching some of the best boxers in the sport around his weight as well.
So much so Jessie Bam Rodriguez has now come out and said he would have had no problem fighting Tank.
After it was claimed that Davis approached some in boxing to allegedly make the fight.
Apparently Tank wants to make this fight next up and soon as well.
Jessie Rodriguez is one of the best pound for pound boxers in boxing at the moment.
Gervonta Davis used to be but because of inactivity basically in recent years he no longer is.
With outside the ring boxing issues keeping him from actually boxing regularly inside the ring.
Tank is a bit of wasted talent in boxing.
As the sport is now flying again and is returning to the masses all the time, he could fight now if he wants.
But he does not seem serious to us.
He keeps making burner social media accounts and is engaging in erratic behavior again away from boxing.
He has also approached the likes of US welterweight Devin Haney and his team.
Not long ago he was also close to a Jake Paul exhibition fight as well and looks like he is just cashing out of boxing at this point.
He looks not interested in actual professional boxing and more interested in the fame that comes with it in America and worldwide right now.
Apparently Gervonta Davis had linked up with David Benavidez’ trainer recently but is still flip flopping overall to us.
Who knows what he is really up to at the moment.
At the end of the day if boxer Tank Davis signs a fight soon, which he can, there are big fights there for him now in boxing.
