A look at the many demons of Gervonta Tank Davis as many are wondering will he comeback to boxing in 2026.
He said he would not long ago.
Gervonta Davis was seen recently all be it very briefly on one of Adrien Broner’s new stream shows he has in the US.
Broner been a former four-weight world champion and a former close ally of Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. Davis had a backpack with him and looked like he was talking to Broner near some sort of outdoor forest or something.
He looked not well and very scared for some reason as well, everyone was saying it on social media.
Davis has only just got back to boxing training apparently in recent times. Some context here on him:
- Gervonta Davis has faced multiple domestic violence allegations and arrests.
- In 2020, he was involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured four people.
- He pleaded guilty to traffic charges in the hit-and-run case.
- Davis received home detention and probation for that incident.
- He has had several probation violations leading to arrests.
- Davis faced charges including battery, choking, and false imprisonment.
- He has been arrested on domestic battery charges multiple times.
- Legal issues have delayed or affected his fight schedule.
- Davis has served jail time due to probation problems.
- New accusations and lawsuits have continued into 2026.
This is just some of what Gervonta Davis has been dealing with in recent years away from boxing.
It is a while now since the razor sharp Gervonta Davis that knocked out Ryan Garcia viciously was seen in a boxing ring.
Many thought he deserved to lose the Lamont Roach fight in his last bout in 2025, which was scored a controversial draw.
Davis clearly has many demons that he hasn’t slayed and if he wants to comeback to boxing, time is ticking.
Who knows what fights he will be in this year in 2026 though.
