Shakur Stevenson reacts to Devin Haney offer

Shakur Stevenson has signed new promotional ties for now but let’s see how long that lasts and who he fights next.

He has been in talks for big fights recently but a lot of it comes across as talk on social media sometimes from Shakur Stevenson.

He has yet to agree a fight and formally confirm one.

The Devin Haney catchweight fight offer was put to him at 144 pounds and now Stevenson is saying he will in fact fight Haney.

So he claims.

He is claiming that he has agreed to the fight with Devin Haney at 144 pounds at this point and says the fight should be next.

And that the time is right for the fight now. Haney has also being saying big news is next.

So let’s see if Stevenson takes the fight.

It will be interesting to see if there is a rehydration clause in any possible fight between Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney.

If Stevenson were to insist on a rehydration clause of 10 pounds for instance this would put Haney at a disadvantage.

Where Devin Haney in theory could way no more than 154 pounds on fight night if the bout is agreed at a catchweight of 144 pounds.

So far Shakur Stevenson says the fight is agreed but who knows how long that will last for and how long this new alleged agreement with promotional ties lasts for.

That could all end very fast and shortly with no real news yet on his actual next fight confirmation.
