Floyd Mayweather is in a mess at the moment between big fights falling apart and more but is still keeping up with latest boxing news.
The former five-weight and undefeated world champion from Michigan still appears to be a keen spectator of the sport however.
Despite him no longer competing as an active professional boxer.
Speaking recently he was asked who his top three fighters are right now in boxing.
He mentioned David Benavidez, Keyshawn Davis and Shakur Stevenson.
In that order but he mentioned they were his favorite fighters to watch in boxing right now.
His top fighters for him personally.
At least two of them are in the high part of the pound for pound rankings.
Keyshawn Davis while not in the top for most people at the moment is coming along.
He had a solid win last time out against Nahir Albright in their rematch but Keyshawn Davis is still only 15-0.
He hasn’t really fought anybody yet in terms of big names in boxing though.
That is the truth of it.
You can see where Mayweather is coming from a bit though with David Benavidez and Shakur Stevenson.
Benavidez went up to cruiserweight recently to become champion in a third weight class and defeated Gilberto Ramirez inside the distance.
A solid win with many combinations and big shots unleashed.
You can kind of see where he is coming from a bit with Shakur Stevenson as well as Stevenson had a great win last time out.
He defeated Teofimo Lopez on points by UD in the biggest win of his career so far.

David Benavidez from Arizona has the most entertaining style however and is more a fan favorite with come forward aggression and rapid combinations.
Stevenson more the technical defensive boxer on the list from New Jersey.
US boxer Keyshawn Davis however maybe the more in the middle boxer-puncher on the list of the three from Virginia.
