Who Usyk may try to fight in last fight in boxing

Usyk has told the old 4 belt organizations where to go and tossed all their titles in the rubbish bin. What next for him?

He is still thought of as the heavyweight champion of the world, the lineal heavyweight champion — and the main man at heavyweight for now.

Without the belts he is now considered lineal heavyweight champion.

Until someone beats him. Usyk has beaten Fury, Joshua, Dubois and all contenders so far at heavyweight.

Doing so at cruiserweight as well and unified. It is proof the old four sanctioning bodies no longer matter anymore.

As Usyk the lineal heavyweight champion of the world himself has gotten rid of all their belts.

In the latest in a string of big hits and moves against the old four belt companies.

As there is loads of other belts and titles in boxing anyway so spectators just care about the fights and fighters now.

The best fighting the best.

Checkmate on that with Usyk this week.

There are many contenders there for him all underneath him in rankings and maybe in ability level in terms of boxing as well.

For us though, there are three really interesting fights for him and the entire sport worldwide.

That would net him the most money and ignite his interest in each of them and get people around the world tuning into them.

That is a Tyson Fury trilogy, a Moses Itauma fight and a David Benavidez fight.

Fury because he gave Usyk the best fight so far up at heavyweight. One of their fights was very close.

It might have gone Fury’s way on another night.

But Fury looks not at his best anymore after his recent comeback and looks in decline.

Moses Itauma is the rising new world name in heavyweight boxing and number two on the list of fights for Usyk for us.

A gifted knockout artist form the UK with a fearless streak that would come all guns blazing.

Usyk might box the head off him if it was the Usyk of old.

But after the recent Rico fight for Usyk where he struggled — Itauma might like his chances now of beating him.

Lastly the David Benavidez is maybe the best fight for Usyk we think.

It offers Benavidez a once in a life time chance to step up to heavyweight to beat one of the best heavyweights of this era there.

To fight the lineal heavyweight champion in Usyk.

Belts do not matter and the fight sells in the US and worldwide because of the moving in weight for Benavidez.

And the pound for pound nature of such a bout. Most have the two in the top 10 pounds for pound boxing rankings.

Benavidez won against Gilberto Ramirrez recently up at cruiserweight to become a three-weight champion.

Becoming a four-weight world champion even though no belt would be on the line, would still be the case in the eyes of the public at heavyweight vs Usyk.

As Usyk is still considered the lineal heavyweight champion now until someone beats him.

Just like Tyson Fury was years ago after beating Wladimir Klitschko in Germany. Fury held that lineal title for many years.

Hence why the whole concepts of belts no longer matters.

Lineal champions (the man who beat the man) in each weight division and pound for pound rankings matter more than ever.

That is the solution to what is going on with the over dilution of belts and too many frivolous titles in professional boxing.

Dissected.

Usyk vs Benavidez the pick of the options in our view.

Who knows who Usyk will fight next.
