Floyd Mayweather is in Greece this week for a boxing exhibition and there is surely only one reason why that is.
Plain old money. Pure and simple.
Floyd Mayweather marketed himself as two personas in his professional boxing career.
In the early younger days as Floyd ‘Pretty Boy’ Mayweather when he used to knock people out.
Then in his post hand-troubles-days later in his career as Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather where he pot-shotted more.
Coasted more and won on points more.
The money moniker was with him for years but not as much in recent years. You never see him using it anymore.
Surely a purposeful move on his part.
He does not seem to market himself with it anymore and the reasons might be obvious.
The IRS are allegedly after him for over seven million and many others are making claims regarding jewelry, apartments and all sorts allegedly.
So how did this happen?
It appears it was excessive spending habits — pure in simple.
All the expensive jewelry, luxury apartments and luxury mansions, excessive amounts of luxury vehicles and so on.
That is how it happened.
You could say in a sense he came from a poor background and maybe that wild spending on things is understanable.
To an extent.
But then again, he had plenty of time and resources to educate himself later in his career in boxing and in life.
If is not where you start out in life that matters.
It is where you finish.
Floyd Maweather was once one of the most iconic names in America for his remarkable boxing ability.
This is tainted now and he is just fighting anyone in exhibitions at this point.
There is basically no Mayweather undercard this week in Greece.
It is all mostly local Greeks who no one outside of Greece has heard of really.
Floyd Mayweather who fights on Saturday — once had had access to cash to spend after expenses and tax or surely north of $100 million.
His net worth may have been around $200 million in reality based on new evidence we know now.
But that is not the case anymore.
Floyd Mayweather looks scared these days and he might have reason to be with everything in the news and so on.
