The fight is on.
Wardley tried the mind games mentioning Dubois’ losses before and that he showed bad character in them and that it leaves opportunity for him to exploit in their fight.
Dubois was more focused. Silent. He said the talk is done and he’s ready for war.
Asked if he hangs his chin out that he will be in trouble against Dubois, Wardley said that maybe he will and came across very confident.
He was talking very fast. Almost seemed a little over confident.
Wardley conceded that Dubois is a big puncher but hasn’t concussed everyone he’s been in the ring with.
Dubois said he’s ready for a fight and he’s trained for war and the talking is done and ‘let’s fight’.
Wardley also said sure Dubois has beaten elite fighters but that it counts for nothing on the night this weekend when they fight and that he can’t bring his record in the ring with him.
Dubois said he’s got to take his ‘O’ and that’s it. Short and simple.
He followed up saying he’s just focused at one fight at a time.
Wardley was chuckling at one point whereas Dubois was more serious and short in his responses.
