Manny Pacquiao Speed and Heart in Later Career Chapter Needed One Last Time If He Takes A Big Fight

Pacman is expected to have one last fight this year but against an opponent yet to be confirmed for the moment.

It had been the Floyd rematch but they say that is on hold, champions like Liam Paro of Australia had also been mentioned for the Filipino eight-division champion also.

The Paro story line a good one at the advanced years of the Filipino in terms of fighting for a title even at this age, nearer 50 than he is 40 at this point.

But Paro might be going in another direction at this point.

There is of course options plenty for a name as big as Manny Pacquiao but if he goes for that last big fight in pro boxing, he’ll have to dig deep to pull out one last big performance.

He displayed that against Mario Barrios last year at 147 pounds in a fight that he proved he could box more than competently near a high level in the sport at, still.

Most thought he deserved to come out of that fight as a champion but it got scored a stalemate.

He needs to have that legendary speed and heart, at least a little bit of both, one last time if he comes back in near championship level around the 147 pounds division mark.

Competition is fierce and his legs are not as fast as they used to be but he has enough boxing smarts, intelligence and experience in there at the highest level to still box most young 147 pounds contenders near the highest level.

It is debatable if he fought someone like Jaron Ennis if he could hang in there against him in all departments.

Ennis has proven to have a leaky defense though and if the Filipino gets himself into even better shape than the Mario Barrios fight, anything is possible from him.

That heart is going to be needed one last time if it is a big pro fight he goes for.

You’d think surely he’d go for one last pro fight or a title fight as opposed to an exhibition, not just for monetary reasons, but for motivational ones also.
