There are many Aaron Mckenna opponents and options next for him after his victory in Dublin in the Ireland.
The Irishman got the victory on Saturday night to claim a title at middleweight.
He did so by UD on points. Options next could include for him;
- Denzel Bentley – McKenna has called the UK boxer out before
- Carlos Adames – another titleholder McKenna wants to face to “clean up” the division
- Callum Walsh – all-Irish showdown; Walsh is open to it if a world title is at stake
- Chris Eubank Jr. – veteran name McKenna wants for a massive Ireland vs. UK event in Dublin
- Janibek Alimkhanuly – dangerous unbeaten champion and a logical unification target
- Erislandy Lara – The Cuban is a tough fight for him though
- Ethan Tiernan – fellow Irish prospect; domestic grudge match that would sell out Dublin
- Move to super‑middleweight – his 6ft 2in frame suits the division; names like Canelo, Caleb Plant or Christian Mbilli could be targets
- Undisputed first, then up – clear plan: unify at middleweight, then chase bigger challenges at 168lbs
Mckenna is flying high and congrats on the victory tonight.
The middleweight division is very weak at the moment though and is poor to say the least.
