Father of 147 pounds champion Devin Haney, Bill Haney, has come out blasting at US boxer Shakur Stevenson.
The talks are ongoing again on social media about a possible fight, even at the 144 pounds limit that gives Shakur Stevenson an edge.
Bill Haney said US boxer Shakur Stevenson signed with Zuffa Boxing.
Then told Nick Khan (of TKO/Zuffa promotion) he’d fight Conor Benn (fights Ryan Garcia next up) at 147 to 150 pounds.
But yet he demands Devin Haney come down to 144 pounds. Bill said that makes Shakur bad for the sport.

US boxer Devin Haney clearly is ready to fight immediately vs Shakur Stevenson at the end of the day.
