Pacquiao vs Mayweather 2 has still not been officially properly confirmed or announced yet and it is June now.
Away from boxing Floyd Mayweather appears to be in all sorts of headlines and issues in the US and worldwide at the moment.
So who knows what is going on with him.
He claims he is doing a boxing exhibition still this summer in Greece anyway, which he might do, but the Pacman rematch in September in a real boxing match is what Netflix and everyone is waiting on.
Surely Netflix are close to telling him where to go at this point.
As they are to any promoter offering them crappy fights on their network that the consumer are not interested in.
Netflix have seen mostly in the beginning great fights and at least events on their platform which has grown boxing to new audiences.
But if any promoter or anyone thinks they will get away with putting fights on moving forward, they are in for a brutal reality check.
Netflix can easily dump any promoter or reject any offer or bid at any time if they believe the fight is not good and is not what the consumer once to see on their network.
Or have affiliated with their brand.
The eight-division Filipino champion Pacman is back in the US at the moment and looks jaded and tired recently.
Let’s see if they can get Pacquiao vs Mayweather 2 over the line.
As things stand we believe it looks highly doubtful to happen in September.
Everything is collapsing around Mayweather at the moment and his recent proposed exhibition with Mike Tyson also fell apart for Africa back in April.
