Without doubt the Anthony Joshua intimidation factor he used to have in boxing is beyond cooked and is done now.
A short time ago he faced off with a fighter no one ever heard of.
An Albanian called Kristian Prenga.
You could see Joshua per the above photo trying to eyeball him and stare him down. A futile pointless exercise.
It just doesn’t work for him anymore.
This has been coming a while now and sure, on paper, this is a fight Joshua should win easily but it is heavyweights and after Rico, a kickboxer with just one pro boxing match nearly upsetting Usyk last week, anything is possible.
Joshua looked a shell of his former self.
He has been travelling a lot lately and has now secure foundation to attempt what is supposed to be a long awaited fight with Tyson Fury.
That could be all hot air though, who knows if that fight will even happen.
The main thing we think that the Albanian probably has seen is that Jake Paul fight Joshua had just before Christmas.
It was Joshua’s worst performance of his entire career in boxing. He stank.
Sure, he knocked Jake Paul out but Paul was just a blown up novice cruiserweight at the end of the day.
Jake Paul landed many times on Joshua as well in the contest.
That’s why the Anthony Joshua intimidation factor is gone in boxing.
And it’s never coming back.
Ever.
