Lennox Lewis Weighs In On A Usyk vs Fury Trilogy

Lennox Lewis weighs in on a Usyk vs Fury trilogy but there’s a lot of things happening that might not allow the fight.

Lewis said he can’t go against Usyk but usually would side with the bigger man like Fury.

As for the fight, Usyk is taking easy fights — that isn’t going to stop a possible fight.

Fury however is talking about fighting Jarrell Miller of Andy Ruiz Jr next up before possibly fighting Anthony Joshua at the end of the year.

The chances of that even happening are not very possible though.

It’s all talk and there’s nothing officially announced yet, Fury looked only alright in his comeback as well.

And heavyweight champion Usyk tonight is boxing a guy with just one pro boxing match and has piled on the pounds.

The heavyweight division is being moved around now and here’s a few things to note if you are new to boxing:

  • Fury lost twice: Usyk beat Fury back to back in 2024.
  • Fury retired again: He quit boxing in January 2025 after those losses.
  • Usyk moved on: He is booked to fight Rico Verhoeven in Giza tonight.
  • No belts needed: Usyk already beat Fury for undisputed. A third fight adds nothing.
  • Risk too high: Fury’s team wants to protect the Joshua fight from a loss.

As well — you don’t what is going to happen with Usyk after today.

He could retire or who knows what fights he’ll be in.

He is all over the place lately and as boxing is returning to the masses he is looking to take strange fights all of a sudden.

Here was Usyk’s final comments to Rico ahead of their fight tonight in boxing.
