Both Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani represent real danger to one another in a big fight in Japan.
Next month they take on one another in one of the biggest Japanese fights in all of boxing history.
Previously we said we thought Inoue is the best Japanese boxer of all time but upon second analysis we are not sure of that, there has been so many great champions from the country in the 20th century.
He’s up there and a big knockout of Nakatani could help him with that next month for sure.
To stake that kind of claim.
Then again Nakatani will be looking to do the same himself of course.
It’s a pick um fight and Inoue is in monster condition for the fight like he always is, very strong and powerful at the moment and certainly punching well in his training videos.
Nakatani appears to be focused on the fight as well but we’d have him underdog in the fight based on current form.
Form books often go out the window in a fight like this though and with a packed Tokyo Dome baying for their opposing fighter’s blood all hell will break loose in Japan at some point for the two of them.
Real carnage.
For two of them, as, their styles should clash well and make for a fight at some point that will lead to real mayhem in that boxing ring.
Maybe you could say Nakatani is the slightly more boxer type of the two and Inoue has shown one of his weaknesses previously to be easy to hit at times when he is over eager in his offense and attacks on his opponent.
This can in fact play into the hands of Nakatani very well and Inoue comes across as using emotions overly so in his fights at times which is what leads him to make reckless mistakes and get caught.
If he does this too much against Nakatani and with the crowd and everything going on in Japan, if Nakatani was to fight out of his skin, he could find himself in serious danger early on.
Serious danger for both.
Difficult fight to call.
Possibly will go the distance.
Roll on the big fight at the Tokyo Dome between Inoue and Nakatani.
