It is being widely reported that Gervonta Davis is in some alleged legal issues over an alleged incident that took place recently.
There is no evidence or proof of this however at this time.
It looks like another garbage case that any competent judge or prosecutor office if they know what’s good for them in America will surely throw out surely.
And allow Mr. Davis to continue with his boxing career and fight in his Netflix event on November 14th against Jake Paul.
Jake Paul Reportedly Offers Ryan Garcia
Paul has reportedly according to Chris Mannix mentioned to Ryan Garcia they can fight if Davis can’t make it.
Ryan Garcia is a bit bigger than Gervonta Davis obviously so it would be a little bit more of a fair fight.
Garcia lost in a world title contest to Rolly Romero earlier this year but for such a late notice thing, on such a large platform like Netflix, it would do huge numbers as well.
Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis are surely the two most well known active US boxers in America today outside of Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson (the latter two are retired).
The Davis vs Paul fight is still on for now.
There is no indication that the fight is off yet.
We know that judge or prosecutor’s office will do the right thing and see through another cynical attempt to interference with one of the best fighters’ in the world’s fight career and dismiss any allegations quickly enough.
Boxing is in great times and the show will of course go on.
Boxing will win big.
Some of the novelty fights are not for everyone, fair enough, but they bring new fans to the sport and younger ones too.
All industries and products need this or else if it is just old people an industry or product would die.
Won’t happen.
Boxing will win big and be made great again, Netflix and all these big broadcasters and huge companies like Paramount and the BBC in the UK back in boxing all see how powerful boxing is again as a sport worldwide.
