Josh Taylor the former world champion from Scotland and one of Scotland’s best ever fighters suffered a shock defeat in boxing this weekend.
Alas, Taylor had been on the repair and rebuild journey in his boxing career these last few years.
After back to back defeats to Teofimo Lopez and Jack Catterall, two excellent fighters only he lost to mind you.
Last night in Glasgow he dropped a close points decision to Ekow Essuman here’s the moment the decision went against him:
A narrow UD loss that saw the scorecards read 116-113, 116-112 and 115-113 in favor of ‘The Engine’.
Some real blood baths in the fights this weekend but as for this one, it will be interesting to see what Taylor chooses to do next.
He’s relatively still young and can of course fight on which most likely he will but let’s see what happens.
