This weekend’s Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr fight is big.
No doubt about it.
Call it what you will but the fact both these two legends are involved has got people talking.
For American boxing fans and American casual sports fans this weekend is all about Tyson vs Jones really.
No one really knows what to expect.
Ahead of the fight Tyson has made a big claim on how the event has done already:
Wow.
It will be interesting to see what the numbers are after the fight.
The biggest selling fight on pay per view in history was Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor.
If Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones were to break that, as the above suggests, you are talking massive numbers.
The fight will be available to watch and live stream on FITE.tv and TysonOnTriller.com this weekend.
I hope the above tech people and engineers have the appropriate infrastructure in place to absorb a huge volume of traffic this weekend.
They’ll need it.
The event on Saturday night in California will start at 9pm in the East, 6pm in the West.
The pay per view will cost $49.99.
The venue for the fight will be the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Light heavyweight Badou Jack will also compete on the Tyson vs Jones undercard.
