As the build up to one of the biggest heavyweight title fights in years quickly approaches, momentum is starting to gather accordingly.

WBC heavyweight champion of the world Deontay Wilder and lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will battle it out in a rematch come February 22nd in Las Vegas.

A fight that Fury has gone into so far as a favorite with sports books.

That said, for anyone familiar with this division’s history and certainly, anyone with knowledge of Deontay Wilder’s career, considered by many to be the biggest hitter in all time heavyweight boxing by many — you can’t count the Alabama man out.

Even if Fury boxes perfectly for the entire duration, at some point, if he gets tagged just once, the question will — come can he take it?

He showed he could last time out but coming into the rematch he’s said he’s not leaving it in the hands of the judges this time after their previous draw.

A game plan apparently of trying to knock Wilder.

A dangerous, dangerous strategy.

One that could surely leave openings for Wilder but you have to take it with a pinch of salt.

‘The Gypsy King’ under new trainer ‘Sugar’ Hill could easily come out with a boxing type game plan once again.

Ahead of the fight the folks at PBC Fox YouTube (hat tip) have released this stellar build-up video showing all things inside both fighters’ camps at the moment:

With both men largely training behind closed doors at the moment there is no doubt a more serious vibe to their rematch as compared to their first fight.

Understandably so.

So much is on the line for both guys in a bout that could, in theory, if it delivers that is — do wonders for bringing the sport of boxing and heavyweight division.

In terms of bringing them both even more back into the public conscious of general sports fans across the globe this year.
