Speculation that Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather could be set to fight in RIZIN has been quickly put to bed.
The Japanese fight promotion have now confirmed that Pacquiao will be an ambassador for the organziation for Filipino fighters in the organization and that he will not be having an exhibition for them as some had thought.
On April 21st is is understood Pacquiao will be ringside at RIZIN 15 as Japanese fight star Tenshin Nasukawa is facing a Filipino opponent on the night.
Tenshin previously fought Floyd Mayweather in a boxing exhibition in Tokyo on New Year’s Eve just gone in which he was stopped inside the distance in round one.
Mayweather has indicated that he will have more exhibitions this year but has not revealed anything yet about opponents or dates.
As for Pacquiao, he is heavily linked with a fight in the professional boxing ring next up in the summer against Keith Thurman.
