Terence Crawford Trolls Mikey Garcia

WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford finds himself in a bit of an awkward situation at the moment.

Next up he takes on Amir Khan which is a big fight for him. No doubt.

It will probably be the biggest name fought to date in terms of star power in boxing but after that it’s kind of hard to see how Crawford will be able to land fights with any of the other top fighters in his division.

Due to them being with rival promotional companies and TV networks.

That has not stopped the talented ‘Bud’ from ripping one of them (Mikey Garcia) on Twitter however:

He also added:

Garcia takes on Errol Spence for the IBF welterweight championship next month.

Both men box on Premier Boxing Champions and are affiliated with Fox and Showtime.

Crawford fights on ESPN and his fight with Amir Khan is expected to be the first boxing pay per view offering later this year on ESPN since they returned to the sport with their partnership with Crawford’s promoter Bob Arum and Top Rank.

For the time being, the best fans appear they can hope for is that these networks will sit down with one another and look to make the fights happen on one another’s networks should the opportunity arise.
