The Reaction To Pacquiao’s First Broner Fight Week Tweet Shows People Are Still Rather Fond Of Him

Manny Pacquiao has become much more than just a boxer since he shot to fame as a prize fighter over a decade ago.

The eight-weight division world champion while being a recognized great of the sport has added a lot of strings to his bowe since then.

Now a Filipino Senator, Pacquiao does his bit as a public servant to help the less well off in his country but more importantly — as a private citizen, businessman and philanthropist he does so much more by continuing to help the poor personally through his own resources and vast connections out of the sheer kindness of his heart.

It’s not surprising that the first thing he’s said this week ahead of his latest fight with Adrien Broner on Showtime pay per view on Saturday in Vegas has gone down rather well:

This weekend will be Pacquiao’s 70th fight as a professional boxer as he approaches the age of 40.
