He’s been in plenty of big fights as a coach and rates this Saturday’s Pacquiao Showtime pay per view opportunity at the MGM in Vegas as one of the biggest so far.
Speaking to a group of reporters in an open media scrum at Barry’s Boxing Gym
“It’s all about being quick enough to time the guy with multiple hand speed. That’s what you got to do. Timing, quickness is different than just throwing a bunch of fast punches.”
He added:
“I think this is the perfect time for AB to take this fight. I think this is the perfect fight and I think he’s going to do it.”
On how the fight plays out:
“I think it’s a good chance that it’s going to be a war because Manny’s going to be throwing a bunch of punches and AB is going to be throwing the right punches at the right time — so we’ll see what happens.”
