Mikey Garcia Points Out Key To Victory For Pacquiao Against Broner

Former Adrien Broner opponent Mikey Garcia knows first hand the ability of Broner having shared the ring with him.

Garcia is busy preparing for his own bout later this year against IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr but knows he could easily be in line for the winner or even the loser of this weekend’s big fight in Vegas.

Although he thinks Broner will make it a good fight with Pacquiao this Saturday — he’s still leaning with Pacquiao to get the win.

Speaking to Fight Hub Garcia said:

“I actually think it’s going to be a much better fight than most people think. Broner’s a very good fighter. Although he’s had some ups and downs he’s still a good talent. I think he’s going to surprise a lot of people. I don’t think he’s going to take the victory.”

On the key to victory for Pacquiao he believes:

“I think Manny Pacquiao still wins but it will be a good fight.  I think Broner has a chance to make it a  very good fight because he is fast and he is strong but I think Manny’s volume of punches will overwhelm him  at times and I think that’s what’s going to allow Manny to win.”

Indeed, the popular pick at the moment appears to be Pacquiao by decision but anything can happen when that first bell rings.

The fight takes place live on Showtime pay per view this Saturday night and on ITV 4 free to air for those in the UK.
