Manny Pacquiao goes back to work this weekend in his 70th professional fight of his career against the dangerous 29 year old Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It has been a return to form overall for the career for the PacMan in recent years following a disappointing loss to Floyd Mayweather in May of 2015.
Something that still motivates him in his quest for further boxing supremacy status before he retires.
You get the feeling that both he and Floyd know in their heart of hearts behind the scenes that they still owe the public for a disappointing showing that night.
A quest for redemption almost.
Ahead of this weekend’s fight Senator Pacquiao shot a superb short documentary with the folks at The National which has only just today being made available to the public:
A superb watch overall, in fairness.
This weekend Pacquiao will come to the ring against a much younger foe in Broner but still a dangerous force in the sport coming into the fight in a rich vein of form and in tip top shape.
Pacquiao knows an impressive win over Broner could set up a mega rematch with Floyd Mayweather later in the year so expect one of the best versions of him to turn up in Sin City on Saturday night.
