Many were expecting it to come, and it has, Conor McGregor’s old friend and former world boxing champion Paulie Malignaggi has put the boot in full force following McGregor’s loss to Khabib.

The Showtime commentator has laughed at McGregor, his corner and his overall attitude as having ‘no balls’ in his loss this past weekend to UFC champion.

Speaking to Fight Hype the American said:

“When you’re a p**** it’s always going to come out when you’re in combat sports. You can only hide that fact for so long because you’re going to get pressed to the point where you have to show some balls.”

He added:

“This guy I’ve been saying it or a while, is going to go down as the most overrated guy in mixed martial arts history. He continuously signed checks that his a** couldn’t cash. Continuously. He had an over hyped record on the come up.”

He later said:

“This is the most over hyped guy in combat sports history, forget mixed martial arts.”

Malignaggi also laughed at McGregor’s corner for running in different directions and in general, just put the boot down on McGregor and his fans in every way he could.

Expect this verbal war to be renewed between Malignaggi and McGregor.

If McGregor is ever to return to boxing, expect Malignaggi to be one of the leading names to fight him.
