Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 is set to be confirmed formally this week and one of the US leading prospects Ryan Garcia has now chimed in with his opinion on the whole thing.

Speaking to EsNews, Garcia said:

“Like, I’ll watch it but I don’t want to see it. I don’t want to see it but I’ll watch it.”

Perhaps his opinion speaks for a lot of boxing fans in many ways.

Most hardcore boxing fans say they won’t watch it but when it rolls around, the probably will.

In some shape or form.

The fight is thought to be planned for this coming December and already there has been some rumors that it could affect a proposed Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury in the same month.

The problem would exist for either fight going up against one another within the same two-week period on Showtime pay per view.

Even to have both fights on pay per view in the month of December as separate events overall would be a disaster.

They would both harm one another’s pay per view performance as they’d be happening on the same network in the very same month.
