Frank Warren Reacts To Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 News

Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren has given his opinion on the Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 fight set to happen this coming December according to Mayweather.

Opinion has been mixed so far to the news that Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 in the boxing community.

Most within the sport seem to have little interest in it but the general public and casual sports fan seems to have reacted to the news in a big way.

Speaking to Kugan Cassius of IFL TV, Warren said:

“I don’t know. I think both of them should have retired. Say what you want about Floyd Mayweather, he’s very good at putting together events that people will watch. That’s promotion and that’s what he will do, he’ll put an event on that people will watch. I mean, I thought Pacquiao should have retired a while ago when he fought the Australian, Jeff Horn. But he’s come back and he’s got a title again, and people will buy into it (Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2).”

Time will tell later this week on what Mayweather and Pacquiao are planning for the rematch in terms of network, date and location.

One thing is for sure, it will do at least a million pay per view buys in the US.

I’d be absolutely shocked if it didn’t.
