A man in attendance ringside at last night’s Amir Khan vs Samuel Vargas fight has got social media talking after various pictures and videos of him next to Kell Brook at ringside surfaced.

The immediate reaction from people online was what was he after taking?

The evil smile he was pulling seems to be all over social media today.

Straight after Amir Khan’s points win was announced after beating Samuel Vargas last night the folks at Sky Sports wanted to get his rival Kell Brook’s thoughts on the fight.

The man in the background however got the headlines – not Brook:

Such was the popularity of the video and the various photos taken of the man on the night, he had to come out on social media with an explanation – which in turn has gone viral as well:

No doubt Omar above enjoyed his five minutes of fame and will have a story in work on Monday.

As for Brook, he appears to be frustrated more than ever in that he still doesn’t know if Amir Khan will face him in the ring.

Despite coming down to 147lbs to make the fight and the two boxers sharing the same promoter, it’s still not a foregone conclusion that the fight will actually happen.
