Watch: Joshua and Miller Altercation Breaks Out Right Next To Povetkin

Anthony Joshua and Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller exchanged heated words with one another today in New York city at the launch of DAZN and the announcement of the Joshua vs Alexander Povetkin fight on September 22nd in Wembley stadium being on the new streaming platform.

Often times you get to see staged antics not just in boxing, but in all pro sports these days.

But today between Joshua and Miller seemed genuine.

Firstly, some very strong language was used by both men at one another whom clearly didn’t like one another at all. It happened just off camera but you could just about make out what was been said.

At one point Eddie Hearn, the promoter of Joshua and co-promoter of Miller, appeared to have been shoved back by Miller.

Here’s what happened – listen closely for the insults:

The two were linked with a fight against one another at one point in recent months but then the whole Deontay Wilder negotiation saga came about.

Followed by its collapse and then Alexander Povetkin being given the Joshua fight next up instead.

Miller boxed in the US last time out on the Danny Jacobs and Katie Taylor card at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

He won the fight but failed to impress.

A shot at Joshua or one of the other champions could be at least two to three fights away just yet if being realistic, particularly in the development stage of his pro career at the moment.
