Promoters Eddie Hearn and Richard Schaefer who have had a lot to say about one another in the media over the past year have finally come face to face in person.

The soap opera that it is modern-day boxing has seen both men take digs at one another from opposite sides of the Atlantic in recent times.

All stemming seemingly from videos where Hearn did impressions of the Swiss, American based boxing promoter.

This rubbed Schaefer up the wrong way who mentioned that the sense of humor Hearn had does not translate well in the American market.

Speaking to Kugan Cassius on IFL TV the two met up in person and on camera today:

Neither went back on their opinions.

A good point made by him and Kugan Cassius at the end in that boxing is about the fighters first and foremost.

The two promoters met at the final press conference for Tony Bellew vs David Haye which takes place on Saturday night at London’s 02 Arena.
