A model from New York has taken a story public about UK boxer Amir Khan not long after he recently reconciled with his wife.

Khan recently got everything back on track following a torrid year or so that saw him have family problems, almost divorce his wife and not box at all since been knocked out cold by Canelo Alvarez back in May 2016.

He is now training hard again and has a fight with Phil Lo Greco scheduled next April in Liverpool.

However a startling claim this weekend from one model in the US, Dasha Abdelgany, 27, is attempting to rain on his parade.

Speaking to the Sunday People she alleged:

“I live in New York which is a five-hour flight from San Francisco. He (Khan) wanted me to fly to see him before his wife arrived.”

She continued:

“He said he was there for four weeks to train for his upcoming comeback fight. But he said he was only gonna be alone for a week and I needed to get there asap.”

It is important to note that there is no foundation other than the above whatsoever for this claim and this is something that the model in question is alleging at this time.

Khan will return to the ring on the same night in April as the Carl Frampton vs Nonito Donaire bout that also takes place on April 21st.
