WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders was linked with a fight against Amir Khan not long ago and he’s having a bit of fun at the expense of his fellow British boxer tonight.
Khan was involved in a highly controversial and frankly, down right weird press conference earlier today in Liverpool where more or less, he looked like he was an actor performing a script when he flung a glass of water at his opponent at one pint.
His opponent on April 21st Phil Lo Greco brought up the Anthony Joshua and Khan’s wife story where Khan sent Joshua a tweet rather famously last year claiming he had some sort of involvement with his wife.
Billy Joe Saunders has said the following of it and of today’s press conference with:
When you accuse your wife of Affairs then you sit at a press con you Nw ? it’s coming out ?’but don’t throw the water throw the bottle ?

The two realistically will never fight given the fact there’s two weight classes between them and that Khan has insisted that he will fight at welterweight for his return and the immediate future at least.
Then again though, if both keep winning, they are still young enough where – never say never springs to mind.
It’s boxing, after all.
