The fight last year was thought to have set the global record for a combat sports event in terms of pay per view sales across the world.
The dispute came however when there seemed to be confusion over the North American pay per view sales being mistaken for the global record for a combat sports event, which Mayweather vs McGregor did in fact break.
The fight last August captured the world’s attention and indeed the fighters are still collecting the fruits of their labor from the event.
Mayweather took to social media to post this massive check and told fans that:
“Some say there’s a difference between being smart and intelligent. Everyone knows that common sense isn’t so common, but when it comes to being wise beyond years it’s proven I’ve got the Midas touch. It’s simple math, being 50-0 lets you know I READ my opponents just as clear as you can READ this $100,000,000 check. I stay getting checks like this, I will always have the last laugh!”
Conor McGregor had a relatively straight forward response:

No doubt Mayweather and McGregor won’t be going hungry anytime soon.
