The next opponent for Daniel Jacobs, the former middleweight champion, was asked with an open-ended question and social media – he and his promoter perhaps got more than they bargained for consequently.
Jacobs last fought in November in what was his first fight under new promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, recording a unanimous points decision over Luis Ariaz in New York.
While not his most dominant performance, a solid win nonetheless that sees him back in the mix for big fights at middleweight, particularly after his courageous and highly impressive showing against Gennady Golovkin in March of last year.
Although he lost a decision then he put himself really in the shop window for big fights. Everyone wants a piece of him and his promoter asked the simple question, who next:

Over 1000 “Likes” and counting so far, not gone unknown to Jacobs’ promoter who has said he is more than happy to give him the shot next up:
I’m a big Spike fan! Happy to give him the shot!

Well, there you have it. It looks like its Jacobs vs O’Sullivan next if a deal can be agreed upon.
Two big-hitting middleweights who no doubt would make for an exciting fight.
