Conor McGregor, as he’s done so often, has got the world talking today with his latest social media exploits which seem to garner more attention than any other athlete in the world at the moment.
Say what you want about the man, he knows how to generate publicity. Perhaps better than any fighter ever – including Floyd Mayweather.
McGregor is taking his hype to almost crazy proportions in recent times however. A train wreck if you will. A train wreck of success that is hell-bent on more success.
Where this nutty adventure ends, God only knows.
His latest remark to Floyd Mayweather today has not gone unknown to the boxing public, mind you:
Shin bone to the cheek bone. The rule set kept you out the funeral home. pic.twitter.com/chJ5ieUQvQ

Plenty, and I mean plenty, of people were on hand to remind him just what happened on his first and only to date venture into the world of boxing against Mayweather:

You tried to box and got Slumped Mate

And the referee kept you from the funeral home

The “giant clown gloves” actually saved ur boy from an even more vicious beat down. If they were wearing 4 ounce gloves ur boys face would’ve looked like it was run through a wood chipper. On the other hand, doesn’t matter what size gloves u are wearing if u don’t make contact.
