Boxing results from Matchroom’s first boxing show in the US that took place in Long Island, New York, USA.
Eddie Hearn’s venture into US boxing might not have went as well as he would have liked, but no doubt will have learned a thing or two about the new culture and market that he is trying to sell in.
The attendance on the night was reported as 6,921 in Long Island but it’s hard to see how many were legit fight fans, as it was widely reported from our sources on the ground in the US that free tickets were given away to a number of people and businesses before this weekend’s fight.
No gate revenue was forthcoming following the event.
The main event involving Daniel Jacobs won a unanimous points decision over Luis Arias.
Here are some punches he let go at one point in the contest:

On the undercard George Sosa had a draw with Tommy Rainone at junior-middleweight.
Also earlier on the night Tyrone James beat Daniel Sostre by unanimous decision at 154lbs.
