Amir Khan arrives in OZ ahead of a new show that he is set to appear on after recently reuniting with his wife.

Amir Khan will follow in the footsteps of former boxers such as Nigel Benn, David Haye and Chris Eubank by appearing on the popular reality TV show for celebrities ‘I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here!’.

The news comes out of the blew following confirmation from Khan himself yesterday that after a tough year personally, that he and his pregnant wife have now reconciled after reports suggested a divorce was in the works previously.

30 year old Khan arrived in Brisbane earlier today all but confirming the upcoming appearance that will see his boxing career take a back seat until the show ends.

This likely rules out Khan boxing at all for the rest of 2017 and with his wife currently expecting at the moment, it might be a while before Khan returns to the ring and training.

His last appearance in the boxing ring came back in May of last year when he was knocked out cold by Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas.

Next May will mark two years out of the ring if Khan were not to return before then.

Which likely will mean he’ll need at least one warm up fight before stepping back in there with any top welterweights or whatever division he chooses to fight in again.
