Former heavyweight champion of the world Frank Bruno has been speaking candidly about his battle with mental health on UK TV.

The ex-boxer recently announced that he had gained his trainers license from the British Boxing Board of Control where he is expected to return to the sport as a coach in the not too distant future.

Bruno had an amazing career for those who followed him.

A man who time and time again simply refused to lose and on his fourth attempt at a world heavyweight title, he finally did it and became heavyweight champion of the world.

This determination and resolve inside the ring is something he carries with him in his life since retirement too, true to form.

He has been battling problems with bi-polar disorder since his fighting days but appears to be in a great place mentally at the moment as he spoke today very openly on TV about his battles:

Bruno continues to give motivational talks and passes on inspiring words of wisdom around the world not only about his fighting days, but his life experience in and outside the ring that he’s gained.
