Joshua on Mayweather vs McGregor, Heavyweight Champ Takes Sides
Anthony Joshua on Mayweather vs McGregor boxing showdown on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The heavyweight champion of the world is currently in Las Vegas this week as it happens.
He and his team are looking to finalize a date and venue in Sin City for his highly anticipated rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.
Their first fight earlier this year in Wembley stadium in front of a cool 90,000 screaming fans – could very well go down as the fight of the year.
Certainly as things stand.
Since then Joshua has shot to massive levels of fame not just in the UK, but worldwide.
Everyone wants a piece of the heavyweight champion and to get his opinion on latest current affairs and of course happenings in the boxing world.
The fight everyone is talking about in the sports world at the moment at the moment, Mayweather vs McGregor, is one Joshua is going with Floyd Mayweather in.
Speaking to Dontae’s Boxing Nation, Joshua said:
“You can’t talk shit to a champion like that. Mayweather’s done it since the amateurs. People forget. He’s done it from ground zero. Let’s not forget.”
Joshua has been spending a lot of time at Floyd Mayweather’s gyms in Las Vegas this week. No doubt he won’t be short of sparring partners if his rematch with Wladimir does in fact take place in Vegas.
